Richard James
Rick James

Rick is from Kentuckyana and went to Indiana University where he majored in Biology. He has been training in the fitness industry for the the last 5 years and has worked with everyone from the elite athlete to an 85 year old grandmother.

For the last 2.5 years as owner of Brick House Fitness he is now specializing in women's fitness. If you are looking for a trainer to help push you to a new limit call him today.

He will bring his background of International Soccer, professional Mixed Martial Arts and Kick Boxing to your fitness program to help you achieve all your goals.

I have had struggles with maintaining my weight my whole life. I was always able to lose, usually in an unhealthy way through "fad" diets, but I always eventually gained the weight back...and then some.

After the birth of my second child, I found myself obese wearing a size 24 pants. Although I pushed on, I was miserable.  After a vacation to Puerto Rico and seeing those pictures, I came back home determined to make a permenent and healthy change. No more yo-yo.

In a quest to find fun ways to get fit, I discovered Zumba Fitness, which uses latin and world rhythms and dance to create an exciting fitness system. I fell in love with the music when vacationing in Puerto Rico and Zumba Fitness taught me to dance and enjoy in movement.

And the best part... 3 years later I am not only a healthy weight, but I am strong and fit. So, I look forward to showing you how to Join the Party!!

Kelly Lacey

Kelly has enjoyed participating in fitness classes and personal training at Brick House for the past 2 years. She has been helping others reach their fitness goals as a staff member at Brick House for a year.

Kelly also works as a Teacher at Exceptional Learners. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree ins Education Administration. She enjoys exercising and training for races.

 
Angela Steele Bowers

Angela Steele Bowers is originally from Michigan City, Indiana and moved to Indianapolis in 1992 where she received degrees in Public Relations and Professional Theater at Butler University.

She brings her love of dance and choreography experience to Brick House with the introduction of “V Fitness”, a strip and pole dancing class modeled after the popular “S Factor” workout created by Sheila Kelley.

Angela is a local theater and film actor, choreographer, and licensed esthetician and freelance makeup artist. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband of more than ten years and has two children, ages 9 and 5."

A loving wife and a mother to two kids who was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. My career started in the Medical Field which lasted 10 years. Now for the last 3 years I been a fitness instructor and personal trainer at Brick House Fitness.

I believe people must work out their mind, body and soul while keeping a positive and I can do it attitude. I love helping people reach their goals. As a personal trainer I use Seductive chair and pole dancing, yoga and more to help you reach your goals. My classes classes are demanding, challenging, rewarding and most of all fun. "BRING YOUR SEXY BACK"

I was a size 26/28 when I was diagnosed with Cancer. I declared the day they wheeled me into the operating room "as the beginning of the rest of my life". As a result I made a commitment to exercise and change my eating habits. Within the 1st two months of my "lifestyle" change I got rid of 30lbs (as opposed to the common term "lost"- believe me I was not trying to find those lbs).

Now more than 2 years later I am close to 100 lbs lighter, 75 inches smaller and now wear a 12/14. I know honestly if it was not for the Cancer scare i might not have ever changed my lifestyle. Now, I plan to use my God given gifts and talents to not only improve my life but to also affect positive change in others.

My message to everyone is not to wait for a potentially fatal disease to motivate you to do something. Look within yourself and the world around you to find things most important to you. Let these things help motivate you to make that "Lifestyle" change. "you only get one body, it is time to treat is like the temple it is"

I have been working with Rick at Brick House Fitness since October 2008, and I'm currently a Personal Trainer, Salsa ABS Instructor, and Nutrition Planner. I’m an ISSA Certified Fitness/Personal Trainer with the passion of educating people, especially ladies, to understand how a well combined nutrition and personalized exercise routine can help achieve your goals easily.

Struggling to be fit has been one of the main battles in life, and I don’t want it to be yours. Lori Holbrook
Lori Holbrook

Lori is a graduate of Alexandria Scientific Therapeutics, Inc. in Alexandria IN. She obtained her massage and nutritional certification with over 700 hours of instruction and is licensed with the State of Indiana.

She has been practicing therapeutic massage at Brick House Fitness since 2007. Prior to coming to Brick House, she was employed for two years on the Northwest side of Indy for Dr. Robert Schroeder, DC who is a sports chiropractor to the Indianapolis Colts and Indy Racing League. 

Her services include, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Prenatal, Sports, Hot Stone, Aroma Therapy, and Active Isolated Stretching. She plans to focus her practice on assisting her clients to achieve their healthcare and or fitness goals through massage therapy and nutrition.
 
Nate Brown
Nate Brown

I have been training in Jiu Jitsu for over 9 years. I’ve trained with several true masters of the art over the years from USA, Korea, Japan, and Brazil. I’ve taken the best from each to establish what truly works in MMA. I believe in teaching every single submission and escape (yes that includes heel hooks) right from the beginning.

If you would like to take the next step to see if you have what it takes in MMA or if you’re just looking for a home to take your skills to the next level, come check us out…We’ll train with anyone. Every one leaves their egos at the door, we all come to train as a team and leave better then when we came in.

We also plan to have several MMA Veteran Fighter’s come in to give training seminars from time to time. This will give you a different prospective and outlook on MMA.

Buda Khi  - Lester J. Easley
LJ

Lester J. Easley (LJ) is a 1998 Goodwill Games Gold Medalist and 2000 3-time Silver Medalist in the World Cup Games, a 3rd Degree Blackbelt and has been participating in the martial arts for 25 years.

LJ is also the creator of Buda Khi which is a martial arts based cardio fitness class that is taught at Brickhouse Fitness. Come experience the motivation of Buda Khi and get in shape while having fun.
